The breathtaking woodblock print “Natsu no Sato” (Summer in the Village) is by Kazuyuki Ohtsu. It depicts a peaceful landscape in a rural mountain village, where a cat and a person are subtly included, bringing gentle life to the serene scene. The striking contrast of fully bloomed sunflowers against the fresh greenery and blue sky creates a vibrant yet tranquil atmosphere. According to Mr. Ohtsu, this village in Kashiwazaki, Niigata Prefecture, is his favorite place, and the idyllic scenery feels like a breath of fresh air. This is a limited edition of only 50 sheets.
