- Kyoto Folklore Toy – Paper Koi Flag from Yawata -

The lovely small woodblock print "Kyoto Folklore Toy – Paper Koi Flag from Yawata" by Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902–2000) is a charming piece full of vibrant colors. The Kamigoi (paper koi fish) is made of paper and is said to be a traditional charm for healing, passed down in Yawata, Kyoto. The artist’s signature, “To,” appears within the image. The print is mounted on its original presentation paper.
