- Ichikawa Danjūrō V in a Shibaraku Performance -

The striking woodblock print is by Shunkō Katsukawa (1743–1812). The portrait, titled "Ichikawa Danjūrō V in a Shibaraku Performance," depicts the immensely popular Kabuki actor and is a re-carved edition from the Shōwa era (1970–1980), originally printed in the 18th century. It is signed "Shunkō-ga" in the upper left of the image. This superb re-carved edition was published by Takamizawa, with the publisher's seal on the verso. It is a high-quality print.
