The breathtaking woodblock print "Fuji Jū-Nikei no uchi, Kai Otsukihara" (Otsuki Plain in Kai Province, from Twelve Views of Mt. Fuji) is by Hiroshige Ando (1797–1858). This simple and beautiful print depicts a harvest moon in mid-autumn. Otsuki, the closest town on the Koshu Kaido road to Mt. Fuji, is said to have the most beautiful view of Mt. Fuji in Japan.

The title "Kai Otsukihara", "Hiroshige" red seal, and embossed seal are in the lower left of the image. When Hiroshige was in his late 50s, he drew this series (Twelve Views of Mt. Fuji). They were originally sketchbooks/picture albums of hand-painting. They are very delicate, and the subtle colors are beautiful. This woodblock print is a high-quality Fukkoku Mokuhan (reproduction woodblock print) by Yoshio Kawazura (1880–1963). Printed in Taisho 14 (1925). This is rarely on the market. It is still tipped on the original folder.
