- Gemini (Constellation Series) -

The sensational modern print 'Gemini' (Constellation Series) is by Ushio Shinohara (b. 1932). This vivid and colorful work brings powerful energy to any space and would be especially meaningful for those born under the sign of Gemini (May 21–June 21).

The print is pencil signed “Ushio Shinohara,” titled Gemini, and numbered 26/100 by the artist. It is from a limited edition of only 100 prints. A sticker reading “Gemini” (Constellation Series) by Ushio Shinohara, in Japanese (Seiza series, Futago-za), is affixed to the verso. Please refer to the photos.

Ushio Shinohara (b. 1932) is a Japanese Neo-Dadaist artist who moved to New York in 1969. He has enjoyed a highly successful career in Pop Art, and his works are held in numerous public museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York (MoMA); the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto; the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art; the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art; and others.
