The remarkable silkscreen print 'Arlequin' by Miyotaro Sagawa (1923–2009) showcases the artist’s unique creative style. While Sagawa is best known for his work as a manga artist and children’s picture book author, he also produced a small number of silkscreen prints and lithographs in collaboration with other well-known artists during the 1970s—this piece is one of those rare works.

The print depicts a man playing the guitar. Though the character wears a melancholy expression, he has a charming, distinctive presence. The vivid colors further enhance the emotional impact and invite the viewer into the scene.
