This woodblock print was produced as a kuchie frontispiece for a book in Meiji era. The print features a young Samurai writing on paper with a brush, while others are staring at him with a serious look. They are meticulously detailed. There is no artist's signature or seal on this Kuchi-e print.

Condition: Very good overall for its age. Minor paper toning, creases and soils. Original Kuchi-e fold lines (vertical fold lines). Please see the pictures. Beautiful colors and wonderful details.
