The stunning print "Fudō Myōō, No. 71" is by Kihei Sasajima (1906–1993). It is printed on thin, mustard-yellow washi paper with a unique texture and heavy embossing achieved through the Taku-zuri technique. This technique involves spraying a fine mist onto the paper to add moisture and then forcefully pressing it against protruding sections to transfer the design. Sasajima's Taku-zuri prints are particularly powerful, showcasing his distinctive approach to relief printing.

Kihei Sasajima was born in 1906 in Tochigi prefecture. His artworks were influenced by his teacher Shiko Munakata and Unichi Hiratsuka. He dedicated his life to black and white woodblock prints created in Taku-zuri. His collectors are worldwide.
