The beautiful woodblock print, 'Shonintozan' (People climbing Mt. Fuji), is by Hokusai Katsushika (1760-1849). It is part of the series 'Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji' (Fugaku sanjūrokkei) and is a re-carved edition. This edition was published by Yuyudo in the Showa era (the 1980s) and is smaller in size than the regular Oban size. The print features highly detailed carving and beautiful embossing, reflecting the high-quality craftsmanship of this famous publisher.

Print size: 12 and 1/2 x 8 and 1/2 inches (31.5 x 21.8 cm)
Image size: 11 and 3/8 x 7 and 5/8 inches (29 x 19.5 cm)
Signed: The artist signature in the upper left corner
Condition: Very good condition. Minor ink smudges on margin, which will be matted out. Once tipped and minor paper scuff on the top edge (center) of the verso.
