Kyosuke Tchinai (also spelled Chinai), born in Ehime Prefecture in 1948, is a renowned Japanese Western-style painter. He is celebrated for harmonizing Japanese aesthetics with Western techniques, creating dreamlike works often inspired by kimono motifs and the natural world. His paintings and prints are highly sought after by collectors both in Japan and internationally.
