The spectacular woodblock print "Kirameki no Toki, Yama (Shining Mountain, Kyoto)" by Masao Ido is an exceptionally large work, measuring 26 and 1/2 × 17 and 3/4 inches (67.5 × 45.5 cm). It beautifully captures the mythical dawn view of the vast cedar forest in Kitayama, Kyoto, featuring a striking mix of ultra-straight cedar trees and various other species. The bold patterns of lines and colors enhance the visual impact, while the glow of sunlight at the tops of the trees creates a mesmerizing effect—making it appear as if the entire mountain is shining. Delicately sprinkled with gold and platinum leaf, this print is a remarkable work that perfectly conveys the magical atmosphere of early morning in the mountains of Kitayama.

Condition: Very good condition with excellent colors and details. There are a couple of natural paper wrinkles along the right margin edge and faint waviness on both the right and left margins. Some faint platinum leaf fragments and a few light ink smudges are present on the margins. When silver, gold, or platinum leaf is sprinkled, it is common for fragments to appear on the margins; however, they are less noticeable than regular ink smudges. Please refer to the pictures for details. When framed, these are hardly noticeable.
