- "Winter" From The Lemon and the Four Season of Japan -

The striking woodblock print 'Winter', from The Lemon and the Four Seasons of Japan series, is by Yoshisuke Funasaka. This series features his iconic lemon motif interpreted through Japan’s four seasons, and this print represents winter. The very large format is especially eye-catching. Rendered with dots, lines, vibrant colors, and embossing, the composition is playful yet refined. Its simple beauty and vivid colors make it an excellent complement to modern décor.

This series was produced in a limited edition of 300 copies, plus 30 additional copies marked “H.C.” (hors commerce), meaning “not for sale” in French. The title is stamped on the verso, as shown.

Condition: Overall, in very good condition. A very minor paper crease on the lower right margin edge will be matted out. The faintest tiny spot is present along the bottom edge of the verso; both are hardly noticeable. 
The paper may contain bark bits or natural impurities
