- Yuki no hi, Ueno Goju no tou (Snowy Day, Five-story Pagoda at Ueno) -

The Japanese woodblock print “Yuki no Hi, Ueno Goju no Tou” (Snowy Day, Five-Story Pagoda at Ueno) is by Shintaro Okazaki. The title 「雪の日　上野五重塔」(Yuki no Hi, Ueno Goju no Tou), along with the carver's seal “Okura,” printer’s seal “Ichimura,” and the publisher’s seal “Unsodo,” appears in the left margin. According to the publisher, Shintaro Okazaki was a lesser-known Shin Hanga artist who published through Unsodo in Kyoto. Unfortunately, little is known about his life, and no further biographical information has been found.
