Japanese woodblock print "Takigawa - Touji Zensei Bijin Zoroi"(Beauty Takigawa from the series The famous Beautys of that time) is by Utamaro Kitagawa (1753-1806). Beauty Takigawa is one of the most famous Yoshiwara courtesans. Originally printed in 1794. (Kansei 6 nen) This is a recarved edition by Kyoto Hanga in. Publisher seal, carver name 'Endo" and printer name "Ito" and publisher's red seal on the left margin. Wonderful colors. Beautifully embossed. High-quality woodblock print by the famous publisher.
