- Hanashi (Conversation) -

A quietly evocative woodblock print by Kaoru Kawano, Conversation reflects the artist’s distinctive poetic sensibility. Simplified forms and a restrained palette of deep green, soft white, black, and luminous blue create an intimate exchange suspended between reality and dream. The child figure holding a small blue kokeshi doll conveys tenderness and introspection, inviting the viewer into a contemplative, slightly mysterious world.
