Wonderful woodblock print "Yokushitsu nite" (At The Bath) from "Rajo jusshu" (Ten female nudes) is by Toraji Ishikawa (1875-1964) Printed in Showa 10 nen (1935). Ishikawa's best-known prints are the series "Ten female nudes" from 1934. This print is one of them. Watermarked "Ishikawa Toraji" on the lower right and carver's name "Yamagishi Kazue"(1891-1984) on the lower left margin. Please see the pictures. This print would be wonderful with a new complementary frame.

Paper size: 14 and 3/4 inches by 19 and 1/8 inches (37.5 x 48.5 cm)
Image size: 11 and 3/4 inches by 14 and 7/8 inches (30 x 37.8 cm)
Date: 1935
Signed: Artist signature "Ishikawa" with "Tora" artist's red seal on the upper right corner of the image.
Condition: Fair condition. Minor toning and very faint foxing as shown. A few minor ink smudges on the top margin. The top half of the top margin was folded. Two drying holes on the left margin corners. Once taped on the top and bottom edge of verso and this caused slight discoloration on the edge. Still remains a piece of the original thin overlay paper on the left edge of verso. The image part is very good with fine colors. This print would be wonderful with a new complementary frame.
