- Distant Summer View -

This charming small-format woodblock print by Yoshisuke Funasaka (b. 1939) depicts a tranquil summer landscape in a simplified, lyrical style. Vivid green, blue, and red lend the scene a fresh, open feeling, while the foreground leads the eye toward the distant hills.

Originally produced for a calendar and published by Watanabe, this handmade woodblock print is a lovely choice for decorating a small space or as a thoughtful gift.
