Japanese woodblock print "Daimonjiya Hitomoto" (Hitomoto of the Daimonjiya) is by Utamaro Kitagawa (1753-1806). Beauty Hitomoto is one of the most famous courtesans. Originally printed in 1799. (Kansei 11 nen) This is a recarved edition by Kyoto Hanga in. Publisher seal, carver name 'Endo" and printer name "Ito" and publisher's red seal on the left margin. Wonderful colors and beautifully embossed.  Fine silver mica background. High-quality woodblock print by the famous publisher. Please see the beautiful details.
