The beautiful woodblock print "Himeji-jo Soshun"(Himeji Castle in Early Spring) is by Okiie Hashimoto (1899-1993). The print features a stunning view of Himeji Castle in the early spring, with its iconic white walls. The vibrant color of the sky and the lush green of the surrounding trees create a romantic atmosphere. The artist's red seal, "Hashi" in the lower-left corner of the image. Edition number "AP"(Artist Proof), Japanese title, Hand-signed, dated"'76" in pencil by the artist on the bottom margin. 

Himeji Castle is located in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. It was built in 1609. It’s called "Shirasagi-jo"(Egret Castle), because of its beautiful white appearance, which looks like a white egret spreading its wings.
