The eye-catching silkscreen print 'Toyohama no Tairyo Matsuri' (Toyohama Big Catch Festival, Aichi) is by Masaaki Tanaka (b. 1947). This print captures the vibrant and lively atmosphere of the festival in Aichi, Japan. It is printed on cream-colored washi paper instead of the white paper he normally uses, giving it a different texture and impression. The sheet number, Japanese title, and artist's signature are hand-signed on the bottom margin.

The Tairyo Festival is held every July in Minamichita Town, Aichi Prefecture. It is a spectacular event where a giant 10-meter-long papier-mâché sea bream called a "Tai Mikoshi" is paraded around the beach and town, praying for a good catch and safety at sea.
