The beautiful woodblock print "Shirasagi" (White Egrets) is by Eiichi Kotozuka (1906-1982). Printed in Showa (Late 1900), printing on "Uchida" watermarked paper. Artist's seal "Koto" and publisher seal "Uchida-ban" on the upper left corner of the image. Publisher's copyright seal on the right margin. A serene image of white egrets in the rain. Truly beautiful!
Eiichi Kotozuka was born in Osaka in 1906. He is a well-known woodblock artist who is famous for his landscapes in the Kinki area including Kyoto and Nara, flowers, birds, and figure prints.
