Okuyama is well known as the artist of peaceful scenery in Japan. Very highly detailed carving of water. Amazing beautiful colors and bokashi shading. Please see the skillful realistic reflection on the water's surface. And please notice an animal on the hill and people and drying clothes on the boat. You can see a peaceful view of the Japanese countryside. Artist name "Gihachiro Okuyama" and the title "Edogawadutsumi kara Ichikawabashishita wo miru" (View of under the Ichikawa bridge from Edogawa) on the upper left corner of the image. "Nihonhangakenkyusho" (publisher) seal on the lower left margin.
