The small print "Matsue-jo" (Matsue Castle) is by Unichi Hiratsuka (1895–1997). It depicts the historic Japanese castle located in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture. Rendered in a striking black-and-white palette, the work embodies a quiet, minimal beauty. Hand-signed, titled, and dated in pencil along the bottom margin.
