Beautiful woodblock print "Kami wo suku onna" (Combing Hair, from the series Elles by Toulouse-Lautrec) is by Gihachiro Okuyama (1907-1981). The original artist's name "Lautrec", the title "Kami wo suku onna", dated "Showa 32 nen 3 gatsu" (1957, March), artist's sign "Gihachiro Okuyama jizuri" (Printed by Gihachiro Okuyama by himself) in Japanese by the artist on the left margin. Pencil-signed "Gihachiro Okuyama", dated "1957" on the bottom margin. Gihachiro Okuyama produced wonderful woodblock print series of famous European paintings. This print is one of them. They are highly collectible prints and hard to find nowadays.

Condition: Good condition. Minor toning. Tiny paper crease on the lower-left margin corner. Tiny tape stains on the verso and they show from the front. Toning and some discoloration on verso as shown. Please see the pictures very carefully.
