Wonderful woodblock print "Seirei no Mai" (Dance of Eternal Love) is by Toshi Yoshida. First printed in 1970. This is a later edition. The beautiful image of dancing two cranes on the snow. Block-signed "Toshi Yoshida", English title "Dance of Eternal Love" (impressed) on the bottom margin. Japanese title "Seirei no Mai", artist name "Toshi" in Japanese, and artist red seal on the lower right of the image. Later printing stamp "atozuri" and printer's stamp "Shinkichi Numabe" on verso as shown. The details are incredibly amazing.
The red-crowned crane, also called Japanese crane is a large East Asian crane among the rarest cranes in the world. In some parts of its range, it is known as a symbol of luck, longevity, and fidelity.
