The wonderful woodblock print "Daichi no Yuki" (Snow At Daich) is by Hasui Kawase (1883-1957).  First printed in 1925; this is a later printing by Shobisha from original blocks. Signed Hasui with red artist seal "sui".  The title "Daichi no Yuki"Yuki and date "Taisho 14 nen 2 gatsu saku" (Printed in February 1925) in Japanese on the lower left margin. Beautifully embossed and highly detailed with skillful shading, this print has a most peaceful quality.
