The small woodblock print "Himeji-jo" (Himeji Castle) is by Unichi Hiratsuka (1895–1997). It depicts the historic Japanese castle located in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. Known as the “White Heron Castle” for its elegant design and striking white exterior, Himeji Castle is one of Japan’s most iconic landmarks. Executed in a bold black-and-white palette, the print captures a sense of quiet, minimalist beauty. Block-signed "UN" in the lower right coner of the image. Hand-signed, titled, and dated in pencil along the bottom margin. A red seal reading Unichi Jitou (“carved by Unichi”) appears on the left margin.
