Very beautiful woodblock print "Tsurigane-do" (Heirinji Temple Bell)" is by Toshi Yoshida. First printed in 1951. This is later edition. Block-signed "Toshi Yoshida" English title "Heirinji Temple"(impressed) on the bottom margin.  "1951 nen" and Japanese title "Tsurigane-do" in Japanese on the left margin. Later printing stamp "atozuri" and printer's stamp "Shinkichi Numabe" on verso as shown.

The weeping cherry is beginning to bloom. A monk is ringing the big temple bell. This is a wonderful welcoming spring image. Weeping cherry blossoms and Buddhist architecture are a magnificent oriental combination.
