Beautiful Japanese etching "Okinawa Roof" is by Hiroto Norikane. Sheet number 222/500. Printed in 2001. This is one of Norikane's popular Okinawa series. This print shows Okinawa Shisa (lion dog). The focal point is the "Shisa" on the roof. Many people in Okinawa put a pair of Shisa (lion dog) on their rooftops. Shisa are wards believed to protect from various evils. The red seal reads "Hiro" which is from "Hiroto" Hand-numbered, titled, signed, and dated by the artist in pencil.
