The beautiful woodblock print, 'Tokaido Shinagawa Goten-yama no Fuji' (View from Goten-yama at Shinagawa on the Tokaido Highway), is by Hokusai Katsushika (1760-1849). It is part of the series 'Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji' (Fugaku sanjūrokkei) and is a re-carved edition. This edition was published by Yuyudo in the Showa era (the 1980s) and is smaller than the regular Oban size. The print features highly detailed carving and beautiful embossing, reflecting the high-quality craftsmanship of this famous publisher.

This woodblock print beautifully captures the serene presence of Mount Fuji within a vibrant and lively landscape where many people gather. It is a popular work in Ukiyo-e art, showcasing the festive beauty of cherry blossom viewing

Signed: Title and signature in the upper right corner
Condition: Very good condition. A faint ink smudge on the right margin and a natural paper wrinkle on the left edge as shown. Once tipped on, the top edge of the verso (center).
