The print was produced as a kuchie frontispiece for a novel 爐開き "Robiraki" (Opening the tea house) from Bungei Kurabu magazine, Vol 15, No.13 in 1909. Artist name Gekko with the artist's red seal on the upper right corner. This print is one of the very popular Kuchi-e prints.

Condition: Good overall. Paper toning and some minor soils. Original Kuchi-e fold lines. Please note, the center of the print was repaired from the back as shown. Please see the last picture carefully. However. this print has strong colors and beautiful impression.
