The amazing print "Kagaribi"(Bonfire) from The Tale of Genji is by Kaoru Saito. The Tale of Genji is a piece of famous Japanese literature written by Murasaki Shikibu in the early 11th century (Heian period). It's about the life of Hikaru Genji, son of the emperor, and also about the aristocratic society of that period.

The story behind "Kagaribi"(Bonfire): Genji, as the night grew late and he was about to leave, lit the fading bonfire in the garden and expressed his current feelings to Lady Tamakazura through a waka poem 'The smoke of my love, which accompanies the bonfire, is the eternal flame in my heart that will never fade.' It is a lovely print that beautifully depicts Genji's feelings.
