Very large size print. Amazing old mansion "Swan House" image in Atlanta, Georgia with stunning colors. Printed on special watermarked paper, "FUMIO KITAOKA". Titled, dated, and hand-signed on the bottom margin. 

"Swan House, in this woodblock print, is an old mansion in a residential section of Atlanta. It is preserved as a historical site and maintained by the Atlanta Historical Society. Reference to the white building in the midst of a spacious 19th-century European garden and further surrounded by a large front lawn and green grove of trees as a swan is appropriately elegant. As the home of a millionaire of the day, my mind's eye can envision scenes of parties taking place nightly and attended by well-dressed ladies and gentlemen. The house happened to be closed to visitors on the day I saw it, so I was not able to go inside, but the Swan House I viewed through the baroque-style front gate very appropriately conveyed the reality of the Old South."  Resources: "IMAGE OF ATLANTA" by F.
