The print was produced as a kuchi-e frontispiece for a novel 清流 "Seiryu" (Clear Stream) from Bungei Kurabu magazine, Vol 14, No.11 in 1908. This wonderful image is Shuzenji in summer. His Kuchi-e print is extremely rare. His poetic landscape image is outstanding and very famous for his subject. Artist name "Gyokudo" with a red seal on the left of the image.
