Dokusho (Reading) from "Rajo jusshu" (Ten female nudes) is by Toraji Ishikawa (1875-1964)  Printed Showa 10 nen (1935). Ishikawa's best known prints are the series "Ten female nudes" from 1934. This print is one of them. Silver mica background. Water marked "Ishikawa Toraji" and carver name "Yamagishi Kazue"(1891-1984), printer name "Eijiro Urushibara" (1882-1943) on the lower left margin. Please see the picture. According to an old Japanese Hanga (Woodblock print) book, it is said that one of Ishikawa's a landscape print "Shuuu Ikka"(After shower) and nude series prints were printed by Eijiro Urusibara in the beginning. In Japan we refer to this print as first edition. (But I see there are several different opinions outside of Japan)
