Fine woodblock print "Hyoroku" is by Toshi Yoshida. This print is so well illustrated because you can almost feel the lively atmosphere just from looking at this print. Personally, I like the gentle lights through Shoji (Japanese washi paper windows and lanterns), it brings a heartwarming atmosphere. First printed in 1951. This is a later edition. Block-signed "Toshi Yoshida" English title "Hyoroku"(impressed) on the bottom margin. Dated 1951 and Japanese title "瓢六" (Hyoroku) in Japanese on the left margin. Later printing stamp "atozuri" and printer's stamp "Shinkichi Numabe" on verso as shown.
