Japanese woodblock print "Takanawa Ushi-machi oborozuki kei"(View of Ushi-machi in Takanawa by Hazy Moon)  is by Kiyochika Kobayashi (1847-1915).  This is a re-carved edition. Originally printed in 1879. (Meiji 12nen) This print was published by Maria shobo. Signed on the lower left of the image.  Title on the bottom margin,  date "Meiji 12 nen"(1879), Original Publisher name "Kumajiro Fukuda" and Artist name "Kiyochika Kobayashi" on the left margin.  This wonderful print shows the sight at the time (Meiji era), and it is a poetical scene that the well-lighted passenger train is reflected on the surface of the water in a faint moonlight night.
