Japanese woodblock print "Uki-e Kōmō Furankai no Minato Banri Shokei no zu" (A Scene in Venice) is by Toyoharu Utagawa (1735 - 1814). Originally produced in the Edo period, this is a re-carved edition, published by The National Museum in Showa 24 nen (1949). It depicts the Grand Canal of Venice in Italy. It is said that this print was based on the etching of an Italian painter's landscape painting of Venice. Japanese title and publisher name "Eiju-do Nishimura-ya" on the right. Very exotic print with an amazing sense of perspective.

The small caption is attached to the verso. It states: Published by The National Museum, Supervisor's name: Toyohisa Adachi, Carver's name: Nakajima, Printer's name; Komatsu, Title, artist name, and dated "Showa 24 nen 6 gatsu"(June in 1949).
