The print was produced as a kuchie frontispiece for a novel 夢視美人"Yumemi Bijin" from Bungei Kurabu magazine, Vol 3, No.4 in 1897. Artist name Kogyo with red seal on the lower right image. The man is dreaming of a beautiful woman.

This amazing Bijin-ga print "Yurameki" (Waver) is by Kiyoshi Nakajima (b.1943). From a very small series of Bijin-ga prints. Publisher name "Kyoto Hanga in", carver name "Shigeo Kijima", printer name "Tomoo Ito" in Japanese on the lower left margin. Title "Yurameki"(Waver) in Japanese on the upper right margin. Artist name and red seal on the lower right of the image. Nakajima is very famous for his melancholy young woman usually seen outdoors in the wind. Please see very highly detailed carving, especially her individual hairlines.

Very rare etching print "Mure kara hanarete" (Away From the Herd) is by Junichiro Sekino (1914-1988). Very impressive zebra prints. The print is presently framed. Artist signature "Jun. Sekino", edition number 11/34 in pencil on the bottom margin. Limited edition - hand signed of only 34 prints.
