The amazing woodblock print "Hagurosan Goju-no-tou" (Five-Storied Pagoda on Mt. Haguro) is by Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902–2000). This limited edition print captures the beauty and history of a pagoda nestled in the forest, evoking a sense of spirituality and tranquility. The artist's signature, "Tomi," with the artist's red seal in the lower right corner of the image and hand-signed "T. Tokuriki" in pencil in the upper left corner of the image. The Japanese title, "Hagurosan Goju-no-tou," dated "Showa 58 nen Shohan" (first edition, 1983), and edition number "28/300" are on the right margin. Additionally, a watermark is present on the upper right margin.
Hagurosan Goju-no-tou is a five-storied pagoda built in 1372 on Mt. Haguro in Tsuruoka(Yamagata Prefecture) and is a national treasure.
