The magnificent silkscreen print 'Karatsu Okunchi' (Karatsu Okunchi Festival, Saga) is by Masaaki Tanaka (b. 1947). This print captures the march of the floats during the powerful Karatsu Okunchi Festival in Saga prefecture, Japan. The sheet number, Japanese title, and artist's signature are hand-signed on the bottom margin.

The Karatsu Okunchi Festival is the largest festival of Karatsu Shrine in autumn. The festival began in 1819 and was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage site in 2008.
