His silkscreen shows Japanese traditional festivals or cultures. His work is found in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago, Honolulu Museum of Art, and Albrecht Fine Art Museum. Now he is a well-known silkscreen artist. His collectors are based worldwide.

This amazing Bijin-ga print "Kaze no omoi" (Thoughts of the Wind) is by Kiyoshi Nakajima (b.1943). From a very small series of Bijin-ga prints. Publisher name "Kyoto Hanga in", carver name "Shigeo Kijima", printer name "Tomoo Ito" in Japanese on the lower left margin. The title "Kaze no omoi" (Thoughts of the Wind) in Japanese on the upper right margin. Artist's name and red seal on the lower left of the image. Nakajima is very famous for his melancholy young woman usually seen outdoors in the wind. Please see the very highly detailed carving, especially her individual hairlines. The breathtaking woodblock print `Mii-dera` (Mii Temple in Spring) is by Masao Ido (1945–2016). Printed in 1991, this superb spring image is full of cherry blossoms, adding a gentle and serene mood to the beautiful print. The petals appear to be gently falling in the spring breeze, creating a sense of delicacy and grace.
Mii-dera is located at the foot of Mt. Hiei in the city of Ōtsu in Shiga Prefecture. This temple, famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot, is my favorite spot.
