Hodaka Yoshida

This print shows one house in Costa Rica as captured by Hodaka’s camera and shaped by his artistic vision. Unique composition and beautiful contrast. Personally I like harmony of earthy tones of grey and pink or other bright colors. This is pencil signed "Hodaka Yoshida", dated '82 and numbered 1/100 by the artist. Also Hodaka wrote "San Jose, Costa Rica, 9.13.81 (coll) H.Y." on the lower right corner of image. Very special! Limited edition of only 100 prints. Extremely difficult to find this print offered for sale. I am surprised by his art every time by his incredible imagination and unique sense. He is one of very popular modern Japanese artsits. His collector is worldwide. He had won many prizes all around the world. In Japan, he was given the Purple Ribbon Decoration by the Emperor in 1990.
