Wonderful woodblock print "Toukamado no Aki" (Autumn Night) is by Shufu Miyamoto. Limited edition size of only 38 sheets. A serene night scene with a firelight window.  Toukamado (Katoumado) is a firelight window that is a style of a pointed arch (bell-shaped window) found in Japanese architecture. It first arrived in Japan from China together with Zen Buddhism, as an element of Zen-style architecture. The warm yellow lighting through the firelight window adds warmth along with the deep, rich-colored autumn leaves, which are highly contrasted with the aphotic black architecture. This print looks much more amazing from a little bit of distance.
