This unique woodblock print is by Clifton Karhu. Artist's block signed with red seal and English translation "YOU HAVE TO DIG TO GET" on the left and Japanese translation "Koji wo tamentoseba koketsu wo horu" in Japanese on the right. This Japanese saying is "You can not catch a tiger's cub unless you enter the den". The title "TIGER YEAR" in pencil by the artist on the lower left. This new year greeting (1986) was for his friend. This print has vertical fold marks because artist folded and sent to his friend. Really cute and comical print. (Book in the last picture is not for sale)

Condition: Good condition for its age. This print has vertical fold marks. Tape residue on the right edge,  some foxing on the left margin which will be matted out.
