Senbon torii ( A Thousand Torii at the Fushimi Inari Shrine)

Teruhide Kato

Amazing woodblock print "Senbon torii" (A Thousand Torii at the Fushimi Inari Shrine) is by Teruhide Kato. Beautiful colors and stunning contrast. Published by Unsodo. Teruhide Kato had studied at Kyoto Art College. He was a famous kimono fashion designer. When he was 50 years old, he decided to follow his real passion and became a traditional Kyoto woodblock artist. Success remained with the artist.
