Wonderful woodblock print "Naiku" (Inner Shrine of Ise Jingu) is by Gihachiro Okuyama (1907-1981). From the series "Nihon Fukei Hanga" (Japanese Landscape Woodblock prints) Title "Naiku" (Inner Shrine) on the upper left margin. Okuyama is well known as the artist of peaceful scenery in Japan. This print shows Japanese tradition nicely.
Ise Jingu, located in Ise, Mie Prefecture of Japan, is a Shinto shrine.

Ise Jingu, includes 125 jinja(shinto shrine), centered around Kotaijingu(Naiku), dedicated to Amaterasu-Omikami, and Toyo’uke-daijingu(Geku), dedicated to Toyo'uke-no-Omikami. Its area is roughly the same size as Center of Paris. More than 1,500 rituals are conducted here yearly to pray for the prosperity of the Imperial family, the peace of the world, and the huge harvest. (source: Jingushicho, Ise Jingu official website)
