The wonderful woodblock print "Kyoto Daisen-in" (Daisen-in Temple, Kyoto) is by Kazuyuki Ohtsu. This print shows a peaceful Japanese garden in early summer. Beautiful colors and amazing contrast. The strong texture on thick Japanese washi paper. Ohtsu prints are always such refreshing prints from the heart.
Daisen-in Temple was founded in 1509 by the first chief priest Kogaku Soko Zen master. The garden built by him is a designated Scenic Site.
