Heartwarming woodblock print "Kusa moyuru" (Sprout) is by Iwao Akiyama (1921- ). Printed on tasteful Japanese washi paper. The poem says "I settle here, and then grass sprout." This poem is a famous haiku (poem) by Santoka. Santoka said "His house is like being in a shrine and temple inside a mountain. I am old, I do not need many things anymore, just one person and one herb are enough to live here" He feels comfortable here just like in his mother's arms.  Peaceful mother's face shows a peaceful moment. As people getting older, they remember old memories, especially their mother. This print has a very warm atmosphere.
