Beautiful woodblock print "Gionkai" (Ichiriki, Gion) is by Katsuyuki Nishijima. Printed in 2011. This is very famous Ochaya "Ichiriki" in Gion, Kyoto. "Ochaya" is the room where there is Geisha or maiko.  The store sign (Noren-cloth) reads "Ichiriki" (which is the very famous "Ochaya" name).  This traditional architecture with a warm red color wall shows the beauty of Kyoto. Hand-numbered, titled and signed by the artist in pencil. Artist's official red "Shima" seal on the lower left of the image. Limited edition of only 100 prints.
